The hidden power of feminine energy (Happy Vietnamese Women's Day <3)

There are many things that come to mind when we talk about feminine energy, and one of them is the immense strength and power in softness.

Being a Vietnamese woman means I grew up celebrating today which is Vietnamese Women’s Day every year back home, but I didn’t fully grasp how it’s shaped who I am, despite the joy of always receiving gifts for the occasion. Our country has overcome so many wars that someone as privileged as me, born in peacetime, can only try to understand through the stories we’re told. And yet, these stories don’t just belong to our ancestors—they’re as close as our parents’ and grandparents’ generations.

"Resilience" somehow feels like an underrated word. When I tap into my inner self, it feels as if all the storms that not just our grandfathers, but also our grandmothers, had to endure during times of war were transformed in the most magical way into gentle breezes. It feels as if all the pain and unspoken sacrifices became light and lullabies. It feels as if history transcends time because it's seen in the character our moms and grandmothers still carry today.

Being in our feminine energy isn’t weak—it isn’t about creating storms but about turning storms into gentle breezes 🌬️
